I love the free app and looking to upgrade to the full version, but I'm a discount hog and only buy things on sale. Any chance of offering the app at a lower price? It's the season of giving! ;)

Well, it is a great idea except that unfortunately we did not plan it ahead of time :(. As of now I can't tell you when we will have a sale but if we do you will be able to hear about it on our facebook page or twitter.

New update for the beta! Mainly crash fixes. No real graphics changes for this update.
Resolved:
- BT auto connect options
- Max retries reached error when starting a stream for the first time.
- Search input soft keyboard double tap to open bug fixed.
- Fixed alarm crash issue.
- EQ init crash seen on a few device types. [Internal issue no EQ yet]
- Share on Twitter crash fix.
- Added facebook share option.
- Fixed home page divider lines not visible on some Android 4.x devices.

XiiaLive radio stations. How it works.
A lot of users have asked many questions in regards to the stations shown by XiiaLive. The following are the most asked questions.
1. Do you have station X on your radio directory?
2. Can you add station X to the radio directory?

Something very important to understand is that we use the SHOUTcast online radio directory services. We can't add, remove or modify the content of the directory.
Answers:
1. You can check if station X is on the directory by going to shoutcast.com and doing a search there. If you can find it than you should be able find it under XiiaLive.
2. No, Please see answer 1.
3. We can't modify stations.
4. You can easily add your own radio station to the SHOUTcast directory using the following tools. http://www.shoutcast.com/broadcast-tools
5. Some particular stations go offline do to a few typical reasons. One, they are pirated station and sometimes are taken down but they usually return after few hours or days. Two, they are simple down for maintanance and might come back up soon. Most the time you can count on the station returning.

We don't store the streamed content. The total network received is how much data you have read from an outside network, the internet. So, you don't have to worry about XiiaLive storing streamed content on your phone.

There have been various reports that on some devices the EQ simply doesn't work. If you are having this particular issue please include your device name and the Android version it is running. Let us know if previously the EQ worked or not. This will help us know which devices are affected.

EQ doesn't work. The EQ settings is shown empty with an error message. This EQ bug happens to only a few devices running an specific Android version. We have tried just about everything to resolve this issue but had no luck. After some research everything points to a bug with Android OS.
Solution
With your help we are going to continue to investigate and see if we can resolve the issue with a legit or hacky fix. Our best bet for fixing this issue will be creating our own EQ from scratch. The good news is that we do have plans to create our own EQ and that should resolve the EQ bugs once and for all.
