No original screen on landscape mode

steverow fa 12 anys updated by Jona (Lead Developer) fa 12 anys 0
Hi, on my Moto Xoom there is now no "Original" big button screen in landscape mode, only portrait. As I can only use it on the car dash in landscape, this is a problem, when the big buttons and vol control were previously very well optimised for vehicle use. Is this coming back, or if not could you point me to somewhere where I could get the previous version again.

Many Thanks

Steve

Online streams .pls .asx .m3u just keep buffering or "service crashed"

Coldvodka fa 12 anys updated by Jona (Lead Developer) fa 12 anys 0

Guys,

What happened? I used to be able to streams just fine on my Evo 4G, but after the recent update and getting a new Samsung Galaxy S3 4.0.4 stock, all I get is "service crashed" and/or it just keeps buffering non-stop on 4G LTE Verizon. Does the same thing on the Beta version. Steams work fine in VLC on my mac and PC. Previous versions worked fine?

What can I do? How can I help? Would love to get you guys back as my #1 app on the phone for streaming radio!

Thanks

Answer

Please let me know if you are still having issues.  If you are, try to reproduce the issue and collect the logs right away. Here is how to easily collect the logs:

XiiaLive not responding to media buttons on bluetooth headset

Markus (Aedilum) fa 12 anys updated by Jona (Lead Developer) fa 12 anys 7
Hey there!
I recently grabbed your paid app to get the bluetooth controls advertised since I'm generally listening using my Sony MW600. However, when pressing the start/stop key XiiaLive doesn't react even though it's the currently active app. The key does however start playback on my other media player, Poweramp, which is set as my default player.
Is this a known conflict or a bug? If you want logs, it's no problem at all.
Answer
Thanks for your feedback! There seems to be a small issue with playback controls on some newer Android versions.  This issue has been resolved and will be release very soon.  You can download our XiiaLive Beta from the Market which has this issue already resolved.  If you keep the paid version installed it will unlock the paid features on the beta. Let me know if this works for you.

XiiaLive keeps stopping when playing shoutcast/icecast stream

sa4720k fa 13 anys updated by Jona (Lead Developer) fa 11 anys 3

I'm trying to run an iceCast stream from my server, but XiiaLive plays for only a few seconds (depending on how long I set the buffer size to) and then stops and rebuffers.  The stream is not constant.  This is very annoying specially with the sound effects turned on.

I've tried multiple configurations of the stream buffers, but none of them work.  I purchased the full version specifically because it would allow me to change the buffer sizes, but changing them doesn't seem to have any affect.  Is there a way to fix this problem.  Btw, my music is streaming at 64kbs.

I cannot listen LBC 1152

Роман Синенко fa 10 anys updated by Jona (Lead Developer) fa 10 anys 1
During about two weeks I can't listen this station Program writes "request not found e:54" I used free or pro (from Amazon) version of program on two different Android phones and had the same result. Could you fixed it?
Answer
Are you trying to play from your favorites? If you are please remove the favorite station and try searching again for the station. Start playing the searched station and add it back again as a favorite.

Some cases the URL links to a station expire or simply no longer work. This rarely happens and the only way to fix it is as it was mentioned above. Hope this helped! :)

Is it possible to make a lighter version of XiiaLive?

Qrystal fa 13 anys updated by Jona (Lead Developer) fa 13 anys 0
I'm struggling with app storage space on my now-getting-old HTC Hero, and XiiaLive is one of the biggest apps that I don't use quite as frequently as all the other big apps (like facebook, Google Maps, SoundHound).  I don't really want to get rid of XiiaLive, and I'm not yet ready to root my phone to upgrade its OS to something that allows me to use apps2sd (though I don't even know if XiiaLive supports that)... so my next option is to ask if there is any possible way you could make a much lighter version of the app... maybe reduce the quality of some graphics, or store them on the sd card? maybe reduce functionality to just the bare minimum required for streaming a radio station? I don't know... I'm just brainstorming here, trying to figure out a way to have all the apps I love on the phone I'm not quite ready to get rid of or root.
Answer
It's interesting your idea.  Currently we do support move to SD card.  So if you where to have it upgraded that would work perfectly.  As of now creating a lite version seems possible but I can't promise you anything.  I'll leave this as under review so that we can come back to this idea later on.

Bluetooth (A2DP) Volume Issue

brian busch fa 13 anys updated by Jona (Lead Developer) fa 13 anys 0
Thank you for a great program!

When connected via A2DP in my car (using Blackberry's Stereo Gateway and my Nexus One) XiiaLive's volume control stops working and audio levels are very high and distorted. With some messing around I was able get "normal" audio levels out of XiiaLive and the internal volume controls worked, but immediately following a phone call the volume returned to distorted levels. I was only able to accomplish this while the phone was on battery power and not connected to the car dock.

I have tried the same experiments using the native music player but the volume levels are always "normal" and not distorted. No matter what I do I cannot reproduce the issue outside of XiiaLive.

I have ruled out the BT gateway because I have used it successfully with other devices. No amount of rebooting or updating makes a difference either.

Thanks again.

Sorry about the delay responding your post.  Have you tried using the internal stream engine?  Please let me know...
