Start playing in the background

When using the link buttons on the home screen the program is always moved to the front. Would it be possible to have a mode where the player remains in the background and playback starts? Would be useful for tablets. All required data can be displayed with the widgets so in the most cases there is no need to see the program screen.

Is XiiaLive compatible with Sony Google TV player?

I am considering buying a Sony Google TV player and wondererd if XiiaLive would work with it. If not would there be plans to release a compatable version?

XiiaLive should be compatible with Google Tv.  However the layout of the app hasn't been optimized for the TV yet.  If you download the beta version from Google Play Market it should look a lot nicer and work also a lot better.  

Do we have plans to really support Google TV?

This was a problem with the SHOUTcast directory.
They were fixing/updating their directory.
I believe they have fixed everything but there might still be some testing.

store m3u internally

I play radio from a .m3u file (on sdcard or external sd card), and make it a favorite. I detected that the contents of the .m3u, which contains the actual station's address, is not being saved. Gets saved only the name of the file.m3u. When I move the .m3u on the sdcard the station does no longer play. Thanks for considering it.

paid version not on market

When I look for the paid version on market it does not exists. Searching only shows lite and your links to paid version finds nothing. Using a HTC Desire.

Impossible to buy your application from Google market France

After my payment I receive the following message: "command canceled due to an internal error in Market" (perhaps a problem USD / EURO)..
I am a French user excuse for my very bad english.

The Android Market usually doesn't work properly for some users. In your case you should retry. Possibly restarting your phone and trying again. Usually this resolves these common issues.

  1. The microphone will stay open after receiving and ending a phone call while xiia is streaming. I am using headphones (without inline mic).

Running stock android 5.1 on nexus 4.

hello! nice graphic. When I connect to some radio station, do they know about that? does it add to their listeners counter? thank you

I'm not 100% sure how exactly listeners count is computed by the SHOUTcast servers but every time you connect it should reflect as a new listener based on IP of the device.
