Notifications not pushed to Microsoft Band

Lynn Maddry hace 9 años actualizado por Rodrigo (Developer) hace 9 años 4

I am using a Samsung S5 on version 4.4.2 rooted and current Xiialive Pro 3.3.0.4. Controls & track show in notification bar, but track infomation is not pushed to MS Health( MS Band). Other players Radiotunes, Jango, Calmradio, Pandora have tracks show in notification and are pushed to MS Band. Is this due to the type of notification you use that includes controls?

Also the mute notification control confuses me. If it is on are notifications muted?

count down timer

Peter hace 11 años actualizado por Jona (Lead Developer) hace 11 años 1

1) Would it be possible to display the sleep count down timer, in the player window? There is plenty of space.

2) I suggest xiialive always be in a count-down mode, or the sleep timer be much  easier accessible. My traditional bed side radio: I always turned it on with the sleep timer button, even at day time, with a single press, it automatically expired after 59 minutes. For my android radio the same would make sense, to have the timer with a single press. (It could be an option: expire after PLAY press after xxx minutes or never. Easy to implement, of course.) OR just a start timer button in the player window, instead of behind several clicks.)

3a) the slider in the Sleep Window is just an ON slider, it does not slide OFF to cancel the timer.

3b) additionally the ON-slider in the most very upper right of the timer windows sometimes does not slide well, or I get instead the android controls that are very near by.

Thanks for reading thru to the end of this long post. :)

Great feedback! Sleep timer does need to be improved and made a lot easier to use. You have some good ideas and it always helps us to understand how the user use the app and how they would like it to work. This area you can bet we will be improving it very soon.

Thanks

Anónimo hace 14 años actualizado por Jona (Lead Developer) hace 14 años 4
I have a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 and just updated it to android 2.1. Now when I connect to a channel, it buff, plays for about 8-10sec, cut, buff again, plays for 8-10sec, etc... I tried it at different locations, and with different channels. I've also uninstalled/installed the app... Nothing...
Any Ideas ?

(Oh and by the way, your app is really great! Hope you can answer quickly to this problem)

unable to listen to 32 kbps AAC+ playlist

Dutchman hace 11 años actualizado por Jona (Lead Developer) hace 11 años 0
I cannot connect to a station (BNR Nieuwsradio) that uses a 32 kbps AAC+ and a 64 kbit AAC+ playlist for audiostream. Other stations (also with .pls) work fine. I use Android 4.04 and  latest XiiaLive Pro.

The station's playlist URLs are :
http://bnr.cdp.triple-it.nl/playlists/bnr_aac_32_04.pls (32 kbit)
http://bnr.cdp.triple-it.nl/playlists/bnr_aac_64_05.pls (64 kbit)
Opening the links on the PC works fine. Opening the link in the BSPlayer app on Android works fine. Opening the link in XiiaLive Pro  gives "server offline" until max retries reached . When I change the Stream engine form Android to FFMpeg, Xiia Live Pro reports "unexpected stop" until max retries reached. Please help.

Issue with stream on port 80

DjTunes hace 13 años actualizado por Jona (Lead Developer) hace 13 años 10
Hi,
i have bought xiialive and i'm a happy customer.

I'm also administrator of a webradio and i use a dedicated stream URL to listen to my radio on port 80.

http://mjtunes.com/mjtunes80.pls
http://mjtunes.com/mjjradio.asx

StreamItAll on iphone can stream correctly the first URL but Xiialive on my Android can't play both correctly.

The buffer takes time and play just Few seconds and the buffer starts again.
Also, when i try To stop xiialive it does not respond.

I have no issues with my regular stream URL but i want to purpose port 80 to my listeners using ANDROID phones.

Thank you.

Regards.

Richard.

Have you tried using the internal stream engine?

You can turn it on by going to XiiaLive->Settings->Advanced users and selecting Internal stream engine to ON.

We are almost ready to put out an update that will add metadata support to the internal stream engine.

Commercial Version of App?

steverow hace 11 años actualizado por Jona (Lead Developer) hace 11 años 0

Dear Jona,

World famous offshore station Radio Caroline, is looking for an android Tablet specific app, and looking at Xiia Live it seems the best out there.

I wonder if you would be prepared to reskin it, and have the schedule load like their other apps, and limit the streams to the seven available radio caroline streams?

I think your previous version would be more suitable as this leaves a lot of room at the top of the app for pictures and schedule.

If you are interested please get in touch with me in the first instance, then I can pass you on to their in-house app developer.

www.radiocaroline.co.uk  Their app pages are within the main website.

Many Thanks

Steve

You can always reach us for these types of inquires via connect@visualblasters.com. Unfortunately at this moment we don't have enough time to work on side projects. However hopefully soon we can do that.
