Don't have the app yet? Get XiiaLive or XiiaLive Pro now for Android! Or get XiiaLive for iOS!
How to remove a favorite?
Long press a favorite station and you are going to see a few options. One of them is "remove". Once you hit it a "you sure?" button will be shown just press again to confirm. Your favorite item should be deleted!
You can also edit your favorites url links by pressing the "edit" button.
landscape view revamp
I use the app on tablet in landscape mode. It's nice...but....kind of awkward to navigate. You might redesign the landscape mode a little bit. portrait mode is composed in nice and clean way but this just doesn't translate into landscape. You can't just rotate stuff. On tablets and in landscape you have to treat it more like a open book (two pages left and right)
Have a look on tunein radio app on iOS (not android). they have a very nice navigation for iPad and they solve access to relaven info by sliding left/right
I like the quick access to menu on landscape mode but in fairness I would more consider putting some more relevant info on left or/and right slide menu.
At the end of the day you have to verify whats the 90% of actions you would do on radio app like this. For me it's not searching or access ing settings it's switching between stations I already found and looking on more relevant info if I like what I listen.
What I like:
visual stream representation
volume slider! (It's the only app that has it tight on the radio display screen)
slider menu (nice way to quickly access it)
Great feedback. We mainly designed landscape to be very simple for small screens. The design hasn't really been optimized for tablets or TV That is something we are looking forward on improving very soon!
[XiiaLive Beta] Place menu bar on the bottom
Beats Audio Enhancer
autostart playing last station
- it would be good to be able to start last played station automatically when starting Xiialive aplication.
Hola! Actualmente no se puede mandar saludos a las radios atravez de XiiaLive.

Streaming stops when screen times out.
Very frequently, xiialive stop streaming after about 2-3 minutes. Sometimes it stops when the screen times out. Sometimes, the stream crashes. Sometimes it just stops. This is making it unusable. I will be uninstalling this until this is resolved. Count on me to come back the minute it's fixed though, I love xiialive!
I have a Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 with a custom jellybean OS (4.1.2) on it. I have sufficient memory and this happens with multiple internet radio stations.
Hey, sorry for the super delayed reply! We been a bit too busy!
Generally this sounds like an issue with the Android OS ramping down on power usage. Are you having issues streaming when connected to WiFi or simply to your network provider? This issue seems to happen more while connected to WiFi.
On XiiaLive we properly request the OS not to take the CPU and WiFi power down while streaming to avoid these types of issues. In this case it might be that the custom OS has a bug granting these power requests from XiiaLive.
It might help if you can reproduce the issue and right after collect the logs. Here is how you can collect the logs:
