To disable the notifications sounds follow the given steps below.

XiiaLive v3

  1. Go to; XiiaLive -> Setting -> Sounds.
  2. Under Notifications lower the volume to 0 for Volume and Recover volume.

XiiaLive v2.x.x

  1. Go to; XiiaLive -> Settings -> User experience.
  2. Click on Notification sounds [select] button.
  3. Select Disabled.

Streams stop because "unable to verify purchase" on free version

prior to v2.2.4, everything on my droid bionic worked fine.  now, streams stop in less than a minute with the "unable to verify purchase" screen, the first line suggesting that maybe i didn't purchase it, which is true, because it is the free version.  it is now unusable.

This seems almost impossible for it to be happening on the free version since it does not include the licensing check code.  What is the name of the app when you open it? XiiaLive or XiiaLive lite?

I have just found 2.1.9 from the market.
It appears "media button stealing" issue is fixed with Winamp (I use it as default local audio player).
The main point is the independent streaming engine.
If you don't have aac+ station or your machine runs on either 2.1 or 2.3.4, you don't have to enable it because it's not that stable right now (choppy with some devices even with 3G/4G or wifi). I didn't check the CPU usage but I found Galaxy Tab runs fine with the engine while some other phones have problem (MyTouch 4 and Optimus Virgin).

Update: the internal streaming engine works perfectly with G2x.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, Internal Stream Engine is still under development.  Hopefully soon we will be updating the internal stream engine.

i ordered xiialive 2.2.2 and I can't get any sound

Just paid $4.99 for app. Can't get it to work on my Android x? What's up? I picked station and nothing comes on, just a beep? Do I need to download shoutcast, too?

It could have been something with the particular station.
Was it all stations or just one?
Also, what kind of errors did it give you (if any)?

Currently there is no way to record. It has been requested a long while back and we just haven't had enough time to work on it. It is in our plans to add this feature just not sure when.

I have tried your radio and everything is working fine. Please provide more details about the issue you are seeing. Information such as error you see on screen would help. Also, please provide the device you are using and what version of Android is running.
