BBC AAC streams - Access Forbidden after 1 play?
Hi,
Whenever I try to add a BBC playlists from this thread:

they plan fine in Xiialive ONLY if I "open" the link with xiialive from firefox for android.
If while the playlist is playing I try to add it as a favourite, then use the back button to get back to firefox (because at this point xiialive is running inside firefox, at least according to my HTC One X) and then load up xiialive and access that favourite I have just stored, it will say "access forbidden".
I have generated a log and will send it to xiialive with a link to my question.
Note: the links in the thread above will only play 56kbps AAC+ outside of the UK, but if you tunnel a VPN into the UK and play them, it's at 128kbps AAC+
Thanks for any help you can offer because this is a really frustraing problem, especially when a competitor's radio app has all the BBC's stations in it's database, but there is no graphic EQ (and other excellent features that xiialive has).

Xiialive for iOS should be used in iOS 6, too.
Why I didn't choose TuneIn Radio's app but Xiialive's app was that TuneIn Radio needed newer version of OS.
My tablet is low-end so I couldn't update more than Android OS 2.3.
That is why I choose Xiialive.
Xiialive can be used comfortably whether the OS is old version or not.
Also, Xiialive can scrobble to Last.fm!
My iPod is too old to update iOS 7.
Both TuneIn Radio's app and Xiialive for iOS needs more than iOS 7.
If Xiialive for iOS can be downloaded on iOS 6,the number of Xiialive's user will increase because there is no good radio app for Apple's device under iOS 7.
In addition, if Xiialive for iOS can scrobble like Xiialive for Android, it will be better.
I want to use Xiialive's app on my iPod because it offers a lot of radio stations but it has fewer bugs than any other radio app.
Please consider my suggestion.

Error: android media framework failed
What phone do you have and what version of Android is it running? Did you ever have issues streaming before? Does this happen with MPEG streams? Or AAC?

We are currently investigating the issue. Once resolved will be putting out an update on the Android Market. We hope to get this update out possibly between 06/15-06/18 depending on how fast we are able to resolve this issue.

shortcuts don't work after phone factory reset
XiiaLive and favorites and favorite station shortcuts all working properly, did a save, factory reset the phone, downloaded xiiaLive, restored from XML. Most favorites work, no created shortcuts work. Read the online help database, played each favorite to make sure it worked, created new shortcuts...and get INVALID URL.

It would be great if one of the lockscreen options would be to tag song.
Thanks for your request! We have plans to create a lock screen player. This player would provide tagging option.
Is there a way to cycle through your Favorites list, or a playlist. Like a "Next" button?

EQ can't init AudioFxs on cyanogenmod 10
Since upgrading my HTC One X to Cyanogenmod 10 (android 4.1.2), the app works perfectly and I never get any force closes, however, I can't use any of the built in audio enhancement features which is seriously making me consider going back to winamp, and I don't want to do that. I'm a paid customer of both apps by the way.
I get this error (screenshot: http://www.imgur.com/IlQ7n.png) that my device is "unable to initialize AudioFxs!"
I agree with Daniel Shafer (http://support.xiialive.com/topic/126186-new-xiaa-version-conflicting-with-eq-apps/) it would be great if you could allow other equalizer apps on the system to be used because Cyanogenmod comes with a fantastic EQ/custom sound tool called DSPManager - it's only available with this ROM and you can't get it in the playstore.
Here is a tutorial on how to install it on any other ROM if you'd like to do that for testing purposes:

I have 3 phones with this ROM installed, all running xillialive and none of them can use the equalizer (Samsung Galaxy S (i9000), Samsung Galaxy S II (i9100), HTC One X international GSM version)

Thanks for the detailed post! I'll put some time into the EQ in the next few days to try to resolve a few of the issues hopefully. I'll see if I can give it a try with the custom ROM.
