Dolby Mobile support

It would be great to have Dolby Mobile support for HTC Desire HD and such devices.

We would love to include support for Dolby. We will need to investigate a bit more to see how we can tap into devices that support Dolby.

aacPlus streams playback problem on Android 4.0.3 & 4.1.1

I have an issue that came up in Android 4.0.3 and 4.1.1. Playback of aacplus fails on Android streaming engine. ffmpeg engine cannot be used with aacplus because it stutters audio. 

Devices made by this manufacturer have included in the media engine of android the ffmpeg decoder.


Configuration: CPU Cortex A9 dual core @ 1.5 GHz, RAM: 1 GB DDR3, video: Mali 400 TM, Dual Core.


Hope you can fix this ASAP. I emailed you the logs a while ago and told me you will send me a apk with a fix in the near future.


Any hope it will be this december? :)

Buffer on server

Is there any buffer on the server? In case the connection is lost I will loose the information but if there is a buffer I could download that piece of stream.

Usually broadcast do have a little buffer to burst when you get connected but most of the time this buffer is not enough and you do loose part of the broadcast since it's live content.

Hi, unfortunately we currently don't have all stations available on XiiaLive. You could try finding your station using the following suggested methods.

Witam, niestety obecnie nie mają wszystkie stacje dostępne na XiiaLive . Możesz spróbować znaleźć stację przy użyciu następujących sugerowanych metod .

I couldn't tell you.  But you could look at the history and select the songs tab. That will show you the songs that have been played by the player.

Hello, congrats for the this great android app. I am wondering if it's normal that I don't see the CD coverarts that radio stations make available and I can see using other apps. If there is a setting to do, would you please advise me? Thank you and regards. Fabio

Hey, we looked over the issue and modified some things with Facebook. It might help. Where did you download the app from? Could you try clearing XiiaLive cache and Facebook app cache to see if things work? Please know that clearing the cache will erase all content from XiiaLive. Also, it will cause the Facebook app to ask you to log back in. Thanks!

finding a local station

when i first installed the app on my android phone i found (knyd 90.5) in broken arrow ok. i reset my phone and then reinstalled the app. now i have tried everything and cannot get it to find it.

Local Radio & EQ not functioning

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, AOSB ROM 1.3.3(kk 4.4.2).  Local radio feature shows nothing inside the app but blank space where the radio stations would appear. Also the EQ stays disabled.  Both of these had issues on previous ROMs.

Hey, super delayed reply... We previously had issues with the radio directory so that might have been the cause. Also, the radio directory might not have some regions available for local radio. The directory is growing every day and hopefully you get local radio available soon.

In regards to the EQ, we have had various reported issues that we fixed and others that were simply caused by the Android OS. We will soon remove the current EQ and add a new and improve EQ system that will work on every device.
