Local Radio & EQ not functioning

Trent Tubiszewski 10 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 9 years ago 1
Samsung Galaxy Note 3, AOSB ROM 1.3.3(kk 4.4.2).  Local radio feature shows nothing inside the app but blank space where the radio stations would appear. Also the EQ stays disabled.  Both of these had issues on previous ROMs.

Hey, super delayed reply... We previously had issues with the radio directory so that might have been the cause. Also, the radio directory might not have some regions available for local radio. The directory is growing every day and hopefully you get local radio available soon.

In regards to the EQ, we have had various reported issues that we fixed and others that were simply caused by the Android OS. We will soon remove the current EQ and add a new and improve EQ system that will work on every device.

widget prev/next buttons no longer working

Doug David 12 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 12 years ago 0

The lock screen buttons still work fine. I'm a paid user running XiiaLive beta on a Galaxy Nexus. (Verizon, so I'm a build behind,  4.0.4) >= \

I'm using the XiiaLive Beta Main 4x2 widget. It has worked fine until recently. I noticed it wasn't changing stations.

IOS Alarm

Adi Filip 8 years ago updated by Rodrigo (Developer) 8 years ago 1

Hi. I just changed my Android device with an Iphone and the first App that I bought was Xiialive, but surprise: no alarm function for the IOS version. Do you plan something here?

Answer
Rodrigo (Developer) 8 years ago

Hi Adi,

For some iOS limitations we can't include alarms on it. However, with iOS 9 we will investigate if it's possible.

Thanks.

Best,

We don't handle SHOUTcast issues. We only use their directory.  I would suggest going here to get support for adding your own radio station:

Streaming Issues

Bev Willis 11 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 11 years ago 0

I have XiiaLive Pro on my Kindle Fire HD and have been playing up until the last couple of days but now the station will not play.  What has happened?

Answer
Jona (Lead Developer) 11 years ago

It could be a few reasons why the station no longer works:

1. Most likely the station is down and will come back after few minutes, hours, or some cases days.

2. The station has moved to a new address. Try finding the station again.

3. The station is no longer availble.

What error did you see when trying to connect? That could tell us what most likely happened to the station.

buffering message after network loss

Adrian Scarlett 10 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 10 years ago 1
Hi,

I have found an issue where the song title does not update (in the app or notification) after network loss.

Device: Galaxy Note 3 (N9005)

Issue: I am driving and come to a spot where my data connection has no signal. the stream stops(Obviously). Once I regain signal, the stream restarts, but the notification still shows the message "Buffering nn%"

If I stop the stream and start it again everything comes back fine and the track/artist shows up again.

Other info: I am listening to the Team Rock Radio stream

Any Ideas?

This issue should be resolved on the latest release v3.2.0.5. If you still have issues still please let us know.

is it possible to set an alarm to turn the stream off at a specified time?

Carol Eicher 12 years ago updated by Jona (Lead Developer) 12 years ago 0
I listen to fall asleep to, and it would be great to have a setting that would
turn off at a predetermined time.
Answer

XiiaLive currently has a sleep timer in which you can set the amount of time to play before it shuts down.  If you are using XiiaLive beta it currently doesn't have the sleep timer supported.
