Don't have the app yet? Get XiiaLive or XiiaLive Pro now for Android! Or get XiiaLive for iOS!
Commercial / station intro keeps looping - cannot listen actual stream.
Alternate Bluetooth Controls for cars
- Pressing 'Previous Track' button toggles between the last two stations played
- Pressing 'Next Track' button to tag current track (Tag Me).
As the UI is great but not exactly car friendly, I thought this would would be a good workaround and be easier than having a more car friendly UI created from scratch!
Thanks
Stops playing after a # of songs finish playing
Why does xiialive pro and the regular one always stop playing after a # of songs finish playing? Sometimes it will stop n the middle of a song.
Playback of a station shouldn't stop after playing so many songs. There could be a lot of reasons why it might not be working.
Some questions for you:
1. What device do you have and what version of Android is it running?
2. What phone company are you using?
3. Does this issue happen when connected on WiFi?
4. Does this issue happen with all stations you find? If just one stations please provide more info about the station such as a URL.
Certain stations allow local commercial s to be played and this app should be commercial free. Who do I scream at?
The advertising you hear comes directly form the broadcasters. We can't control that. They are inserted by some streaming server that might load relevant ads for your location.
AAC/AAC+ stream isn't working on Lg gt540 (android 2.1) .
We are currently looking over some issues with AAC streaming on Android 2.3 and this issue is similar to the one seen on the LG phone.
Update:
Could you try the newest version of XiiaLive v2.1.7? I placed a couple minor fixes that could do the trick on your particular phone running Android 2.1. Let me know! :)
Update 06/02/11:
Update v2.1.9 brings a lot of optimizations. Please checkout this new version. Also, try using the internal stream engine. That might work for streaming AAC content.
Alarm creates unresponsive black screen
Alarm feature works in that it begins playing the selected stream at the right time. The UI though is totally black and unusable. The 'app select' button (square) is still there and usable so I can get myself out of the app and continue using the phone normally. The notification drop down controls also still work, but that's the only way to turn off the player at that point, the normal UI is unusable.
Nexus 5
Lollipop 5.1
BBC Streams
However, in general UberStations directory is constantly adding new stations and fixing none working one. Hopefully, those stations get resolved soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Favorites group by genre
Favourite stations used to group by genre. That seems to be missing now. How does one get this back?
Hi Laurel,
you should select it from the dropdown under "Group by". Please look the image below.
